We buy our fabric from a “jobber’ company. They buy fabric from around the world: end runs, over runs, discontinued fabric, etc.

We shop in person to touch, feel and experience the fabric before it is used in our designs.

One challenge is this fabric is not always available. It may sell out and not be there to purchase again. If you see something in a fabric you love, snap it up – there might not be any more.

Our products are made with canvas – loosely defined as a heavy fabric. Everyone loves a Cotton canvas because it is soft and light. It also wrinkles terribly and stretches to fit what it’s being used for. An acrylic, polyester or polypropylene may be better used in a strap or zipper connection. We use interfacing to strengthen our fabrics, working with the “recipe” to get it right.
